Our Great Pyrenees are from well-established champion lines, primarily Karolaska and Quibbletown.

Raised to be family pets, for the show ring, and as livestock guardians, the Great Pyrenees is an excellent companion dog for people, and a first class livestock guardian.

Their strong, inherited instinct to protect, and their gentle nature, makes them special.

Mountain Thunder Pyrenees' name came about from the magnificent and beautiful North Okanagan Valley of British Columbia where we live, and from the sound of one of our male Great Pyrenees Dogs thundering his call across our cattle range. Our home page graphic was inspired from our name.
